- 1 cup unsalted butter melted and slightly cooled
- 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar packed
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1-1 1/2 cups M&Ms plus extra to sprinkle on top
- 12-15 Oreos roughly chopped
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy lifting.
In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
Add the eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until combined.
Add the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just combined (avoid overmixing).
Fold in about ¾ of the M&M’s and most of the chopped Oreos (save the rest for the top).
Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
Bake for about 15-20 minutes (until they’re about ¾ done), then carefully sprinkle the reserved M&M’s and Oreos pieces over the top.
Bake for an additional 10–20 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cool completely in the pan before slicing into bars.
