Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter melted and cooled
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar packed
  • 2 eggs room temperature
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup matcha powder culinary grade
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang so you can lift the blondies out easily later.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth and glossy.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla, whisking until everything is fully combined.
  • Gently mix in the flour, matcha, baking powder and salt.
  • Spread the matcha batter evenly into your prepared pan.
  • Sprinkle the white chocolate chips on top.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Cool completely before lifting the blondies out of the pan and slicing into squares.
